It's funny, because in October, everyone and their grandma was saying that the Sens would make it to the finals, if not win the whole thing, and here we are once again with Ottawa on the golf course. Joe Nieuwendyke scored 2 more goals last night, for a total of 5 for the series. Considering the Leafs only scored 15 goals in the whole series, I'd say he's more than earned his keep. Before the season, this guy was practically begging the Leafs for a job, and he has turned into our most consistent forward on the team. Ed Belfour once again stepped up BIG TIME last night, stopping shot after shot and making it look easy. I have NEVER seen a goaltending performance like the one he put on the past 7 games. Enough cannot be said about this man. You gotta think that there will be some big changes in Ottawa this off-season, namely the coach and general manager. Of course, Bonk and Bondra disappeared for the series, and Daniel Alfredson only had one goal and looked totally lost last night. So much for Mr. Alfredson's guarantee that Ottawa would beat Toronto and go on to win the cup. Next up: a rematch from last year, The Toronto Maple Leafs vs. The Philadelphia Flyers. Game one is tomorrow. Go Leafs Go!!!

OK, so tonight is GAME 7 (all caps for such an important game) between God's team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the visiting Ottawa Senators. For you non-hockey fans out there, this is the 4th time in the past 5 years these 2 teams have met in the playoffs, and Ottawa has never beaten us. Ever. Tonight though, they have a good shot. Toronto has been out played in all 6 games, and if it wasn't for Ed Belfour's AWESOME goaltending, it would have been over a week ago. Ottawa is younger and faster than the Leafs. Toronto is also going to be playing without it's best player, captain Mats Sundin, as well as Owen Nolan, who hasn't played at all this series due to a late season knee injury. Alex Mogilny still isn't playing anywhere NEAR what he's capable of since returning from hip replacement surgery. My favorite player, Darcy Tucker, is pretty much going on fumes, as he plays through a groin injury. Tonight is the night for the veteran Leaf players to step it up. It's time for Joe Niuwendyke, Ron Francis, Brian Leetch and Gary Roberts to lead us to victory and into the next round against the Flyers.

Well, this is my first post on my own little page. Now what the hell do I talk about for this special occasion? How about a little story about myself. I was 14 and in the 9th grade when I went to Florida on vacation with my mom, my sister, and her boyfriend. We went to a place in the Tampa/St. Pete area called the World's Biggest Flea Market. We were walking up one of the aisles and came across a booth that was selling alligator stuff like belts, boots, keychains, etc. Anyway, I asked how much one of the keychains were, and the guy working the booth answered "2 bucks". Now, to answer me he used one of those voice boxes that some people have to use to speak. You know, they hold it up to their throat and sound very mechanical? Well, before that day, the ONLY time I have ever seen one of those was in the movie CB4 with Chris Rock. In it, one of the bad guys uses one, but was such a goof, I thought it was some kind of voice masking device. So when I heard the Alligator guy use his, I started laughing my ass off. I mean, I was seriously laughing HARD, almost to the point of crying. Through all the laughter, I asked the guy "how much is one of those?" And I totally meant it, too. He looks at me like he's gonna kill me and says in his mechanical voice "You wouldn't be laughing if you had to use one of these." When he said that I realized VERY quickly the mistake I had made, and hauled ass out of there, half laughing, half scared he was gonna make a keychain outta me.

In a while I'll post a little about myself.
